My husband's camera that jump started my photography passion. Canon EOS 650; 35mm

My love of photography has been a life-long adventure. Whether spending hours looking through pages of old photo albums or thumbing through magazines, I have always been drawn to pictures. To me, every picture has a story to tell and is a memory to be preserved for a lifetime.

But, my passion for photography was sparked when my husband loaned me his Canon 35mm camera. Little did he know that would be the last time he would lay hands on it. From that moment forward, I was forever hooked on photography!

Lifestyle photography

25 years and several thousand photos later, I have been fortunate to work with many clients who have trusted me to photograph their events.  From weddings to military funerals, corporate events to family portraits there isn’t much I haven’t shot.

Having spent my professional career as a Director with The Coca-Cola Company I learned the ins and outs of business, marketing and attention to detail. In my various roles I took every opportunity to develop and evolve my photography skills by volunteering to shoot events. Most notably, for over twelve (12) years I was the lead photographer for an annual fundraiser golf tournament at East Lake Golf Club where I shot the team photos (and printed on-location), candid photos and awards ceremony photos.

My style is photojournalistic which means I’m all about the details of “who,” “what,” “when” and “where” of an event or special occasion.  I’m passionate about capturing the moments, the emotions and pulling them together so the story can be retold again and again.
